How to do a pre-wash on the car

HOW TO PREWASH A CAR.

This phase is fundamental above all for vehicles with stubborn dirt, for this reason it is often necessary to use specific and quite powerful products, able to completely remove all the dirt deposited on the bodywork. Many pre-wash products, however, perform too aggressive an action, risking to remove the protective treatments of sealants or waxes applied.
For this reason we recommend using

Sp1 Prewash and 100% Degreasing specifically designed not to damage the coatings and guarantee perfect results even on the most difficult surfaces (chrome plating, gaskets etc.), both in the form of spray and foam.

CARRY OUT THE WASH USING A NEBULIZER OR PRESSURE PUMP

Proceed as follows:

  1. Prepare the solution as per instructions on bottle
  2. Spray the solution (with nebulizer or pre-compression pump ) starting from the circles and proceeding from bottom to top.
  3. Leave the product to act for 3 to 5 minutes, without allowing it to dry.
  4. Rinse thoroughly, possibly with a pressure washer with pressure higher than 160 bar.
If necessary, repeat the actions of points 2 and 3.

Recommendations:

    • Do not wash under direct light or on hot surfaces (in this case cool them beforehand with water).
    • If you work in direct light, start from the areas not directly exposed and prevent the surface from drying out.
    • Start from the sections where the dirt is more stubborn so that the contact time of the pre-wash is greater.
    • Always follow the instructions for use contained in the illustrative booklet.

After the PRE-WASH it is recommended to carry out a further step of Foaming with highly foaming products, to remove further dirt, in order to guarantee a safe washing during the two-bucket phase

PREWASH USING A NEUTRAL PH FOAM AND SHAMPOO LANCE.

  1. Add the shampoo foam S2 Foamy , in the quantities indicated in the foam lance tank and fill with water.
  2. Shake the solution to mix it.
  3. Adjust the opening of the lance according to the preferred ratio based on the chosen dilution.
  4. Cover the vehicle with foam starting from the bottom.
  5. Leave the product to act.
  6. Proceed with cleaning by mechanical removal (glove / sponge) or abundant rinsing, possibly using a pressure washer with pressure above 160 bar.
If necessary, repeat the actions of steps 5 and 6.
  7. Proceed to the next step, washing with 2 buckets method
