INSTALLMENT PAYMENT WITH KLARNA
Payment terms in 3 installments
The following Terms apply between Klarna Bank AB (publ) ("Klarna" or "we") and the user who wishes to purchase through a smoooth payment experience. By choosing this payment option, you agree to these Terms.
How
works-
When paying, use a valid debit or credit card in your name (no prepaid cards).
-
You must be at least 18 years old, reside in Italy and be able to enter into a legally binding contract.
-
The first payment is charged when the seller confirms your order (usually on the date of shipment) or at the time of the order itself, while the next 2 payments are automatically charged 30 and 60 days after the initial payment. We will notify you by electronic communication of the deadlines, which can be viewed in the Klarna app.
-
With Pay in 3 installments there are no interest costs or commissions if you respect your automatic payment plan. In case of late payment, we may charge late fees. In case of non-payment, the amount of the installment will be added to the next installment together with any late fees.
-
If you cancel the purchase or return your items, we will automatically waive the amount due (as soon as this has been confirmed by the seller). If you return an order that has already been paid for, we will refund the full amount.
-
If you have any questions about the quality or shipping of your order, please contact the seller you purchased from.
-
Your card issuer may charge interest or fees, depending on the contract you have entered into. If you have questions about these charges, please contact your card issuer.
You authorize us to debit your card for the two remaining payments on their respective expiration dates, without further notice. In the event that the seller does not create the payment for the overall order at the same time, we could create a Pay order in 3 different installments for each payment created by the seller. Each of these parts of the order will have its own expiration date depending on when the seller has confirmed that specific part of the order. This situation can happen if a shop does not ship all the items of an order at the same time.
What else do I need to know?
Cards accepted and storage of card details . The card used must be valid and in your name. The ability to pay with this payment method is at our discretion. We may limit the types of cards we accept at our discretion. If a card type isn't accepted, we'll let you know before you complete your purchase. We accept most credit and debit cards that are not expiring. We do not accept prepaid cards. If a card is accepted, we will authorize the first payment at the time of purchase. This amount will not be charged until the seller confirms the order, but the card issuer may limit access to the authorized amount while it is awaiting payment.
If your card is blocked, you will need to settle all remaining payments when we ask. If your card details change between the time of purchase and the time of final payment, you agree to communicate your updated card details to Klarna. Klarna will provide you with an online system to communicate these updates. If you do not provide up-to-date information, you authorize Klarna to obtain it from the card issuer, if possible. Failure to provide updated data may result in the payment of late fees.
You authorize us to store your card details on our systems. We will use this information to authorize future payments under these Terms We may also use this information to conveniently pre-populate your card details for future purchases, unless you turn this off. You can manage cards and details online. In the event that Klarna obtains up-to-date card data from the card issuer, you agree that we can store this updated data on our systems.
Late payment. If we are unable to charge the selected payment method for the amount due on the due date, we will notify you and offer you a courtesy period 2-7 business days, so you can update your payment method or make sure there are sufficient funds on the selected card. If you update your card, we may attempt to collect your overdue payment immediately. Otherwise we will attempt to debit the original card again after the 2-7 day period. It is important that you make sure that there are sufficient funds available to complete the payment on the due dates.
If you fail to make a payment by the end of the courtesy period, you will be in default and, among other rights we have, we may charge you a late fee of: i) three (3) Euros per installment if the total value of the order is less than 100 Euros, ii) five (5) Euros per installment if the total value of the order is between 100 and 199.99 Euros, iii) eight (8) Euros per installment if the total order value is equal to or greater than 200 Euros or, if lower, the maximum amount permitted by applicable law. If you are unable to make any payments due, you may not be able to use the service in the future. We may continue to attempt to collect overdue and currently due payments at upcoming due dates. If we are unable to collect the remaining amount on the third installment, we may request it in the form of an invoice for an immediate payment or follow our debt collection procedures where you will have to pay all reasonable costs incurred by Klarna and / or the collection agency credits.
Access to credit reports, identity verification and reporting. When you apply to use this payment method, Klarna will verify your identity. Identity verification is carried out in order to comply with anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism requirements and to prevent fraud. You will need to provide Klarna with the information and documentation necessary to verify your identity. We may also verify the information provided on third party databases.
We may conduct a credit search on you at a credit agency. This research could affect your credit score and your chances of getting credit in the future. If you cannot have access to Pay in 3 Installments based on the result of this database search, we will notify you. We may validate your card and request authorization from the card issuer. In this case, no entries will appear on your credit report. Late payments, missed payments or other defaults on your purchase can be forwarded to the credit agency and reported on your credit report; this could affect your credit score.
Early refunds and returns. You can pay any remaining balance at any time and we will not charge you any fees. If you cancel your purchase, we will cancel all remaining payments and refund any amounts we have taken back to your card.Any partial returns or refunds attributed to your purchase will reduce the balance due, but will not count as payment. You will need to continue making payments already established on the scheduled due dates until the balance is paid in full. If you have an active balance, you authorize us to credit the balance to your card or any other card registered under your name.
Management of our rights and duties. We may assign or novate to any person or entity or otherwise deal in any way with any of our rights, remedies, powers, duties, obligations or interests under this agreement and you agree to the assignment or novation of this agreement.
Default. You will default if: (a) you fail to make any payment by the due date, after one or more applicable courtesy periods; (b) you provide us with false, misleading or incorrect information; or (c) you violate or do not want to comply with any provision in the terms of the payment method.
If you are in default, or subject to insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings, Klarna may: (a) immediately debit the outstanding balance, including overdue fees, on your purchase Pay in 3 installments, using any card you have registered or through a separate invoice; (b) employ a debt collection agency to receive payment, while it will be your responsibility to pay all reasonable costs (including legal fees) incurred by Klarna and / or the debt collection agency; and (c) report the information on the default to credit agencies.

the Italian banking financial broker (Conciliatore Bancario Finanziario or "CBF") For further information on CBF, you can consult the website www.conciliatorebancario.it ; or
-
one of the other mediation bodies available, specialized in banking and financial matters, registered in the special register held by the Ministry of Justice.
